Jon Horan

Jon has been part of the Borough Care community since May 2013, starting as a Care Assistant and working his way up to Home Manager at Shepley House. Over the years, he has loved building strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families, making a real difference in their lives every day.

Jon is proud to lead such a caring, dedicated team and is passionate about creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home. His favourite part of the day is greeting residents each morning and seeing the smiles, laughter, and happy moments shared with the team.

My mother in law is at Shepley House and I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they do for her, I honestly believe she wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the care she gets. It is a warm, friendly home from home. The staff go above and beyond to care for the residents, treating them with dignity, kindness and respect. Some members of staff treat them as if they were their family!
